Hello, my name is Jarred Boswell-Byrd and I am raising money for my mother's funeral. Earlier this year, in May, my mother, Sidney L. Boswell, was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer. After talking with the oncology doctors from Houston Methodist Hospital, my mom and I were informed that there was nothing they could do. The recommendation was hospice for mom. This means mom will die from cancer. My mom does not have a plan in place for when she dies. I am an only child. I am now responsible for planning my mother's funeral and burial. My mother was a sweet and kind-hearted woman. She worked in social work for over 40 years, helping and caring about people.

UPDATE: Mom passed away earlier this morning on June 17th.
