Shane Schlechter
10/04/1994 – 8/09/2025

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shane Schlechter, age 30, who left this world far too soon. He was pronounced deceased the night of Saturday, August 9, 2025. He passed in peace with family and loved ones by his bedside at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. Shane (Born October 4, 1994, in Burnsville, MN) was known for his infectious smile, upbeat personality, and rare ability to get along with absolutely anyone. Whether sharing a laugh with friends or offering a listening ear, Shane made every person feel valued and welcome.

Shane found joy in life’s simple pleasures- casting a line on a quiet day fishing, cheering on his beloved Minnesota Twins and Vikings, and savoring a warm bowl of ramen with a side of Takoyaki. His favorite adventure was traveling to Japan, a trip that brought him so much wonder and lasting memories. Shane also enjoyed going to work and spending time with all his coworkers at Lucky’s 13 Pub in Burnsville.

Shane is preceded in death by his parents, Kevin Schlechter (2016) and Jeannette Beaulieu (2016), and his Grandmother Jacqueline Snedeker (2023). Shane is survived by his loving family: siblings Stephen, Kourtney, Finn, Nova, Arlo, and Louie Beaulieu (brother, sister-in-law, nephews and niece), Scott Schlechter (brother), Stacey Schlechter, CJ and Joey Whitley (sister and nephews), and Shawn and Samantha Schlechter (brother and sister-in-law). He is also survived by his grandfather, Harlan Snedeker. Shane’s circle of friends and family is vast, and all who know him will carry his light in their hearts.

A celebration of Shane’s life will be held at Antlers Park of Lake Marion (Lakeville, MN) on Friday August 22 from 2:00-6:00 PM, where stories will be shared, tears shed, and laughter remembered. His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Rest easy, Shane — we’ll be thinking of you every time a fishing line hits the water, the Twins and Vikings take the field, or a steaming bowl of ramen is served.
