Serenity was only 18 when her life was tragically cut short by the hands of a criminal. She hadn’t graduated, she hadn’t been to prom, she hadn’t started her life—she was just a child at barely 18. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong people. The man who killed her was killed by the police after a chase occurred. It still doesn’t take away the pain from the beautiful life that was taken. It doesn’t make it any easier and will never feel like justice was served. So many unanswered questions and thoughts. So many what ifs and should’ve, would’ve, could’ves.

At the end of the day, we all want this beautiful, amazing, bright, happy, and absolutely incredible human to have one last final beautiful thing to show the world the beauty she held. Something to mark where she will forever be. Her final resting place. The place we all go to see.
