Scott was such an outgoing person with so many long-term friends who are deeply impacted by his passing. He was always so quick to laugh and light up a cigarette while scrolling through his phone and communicating with friends locally and his family up in Canada. He seemed to be everybody's friend and sort of the guy that was always present at any number of events. While he considered himself a punk when he was growing up (we won't talk about the dumpster and fort fires), he became so proud with where he progressed in his Catholic faith, often pondering the absolute beauty of all that God has created. Hopefully this relationship with God, especially at the time of his death (he had just come out of Mass about an hour prior and recent confession) will comfort and console all affected.

He loved his children, family and friends, football (sure everyone heard about his big Thanksgiving fumble recovery), Bob Seger (his karaoke go-to), driving (anywhere was fine with him - longer the better), hanging out with friends, streaming his phone looking at food preparation postings (pretty sure he liked food - A LOT!) and he loved going to Canada to see his dad and countless relatives. He always found a way to laugh, even though he went through so much personal tragedy, but he learned to persevere through it all - one day at a time with his faith.

We're asking for help to raise funds to cover his funeral and burial costs because he had no money for these things. The current plan is to have services at Brasco Funeral Home in Waltham. As many already know, there are a myriad of options for burial. Ideally, we would like to have a wake with him visible for friends and family to say goodbye, but that and the overall service will depend on the amount we're able to raise.
