My niece, Savannah Hawkins Gandy, lost her life at 6:50 p.m. in Rosehill, North Carolina, last night due to a tragic hit and run. She was just weeks away from turning 18, with so much life ahead of her. Her mother had to endure the unimaginable pain of holding her child as she took her last breath. Savannah was a beautiful soul, and even in her passing, she is selflessly donating her body to help others have a chance at life, even though she was unable to grow into hers.

We are asking for help to give Savannah one last birthday gift—a funeral and a beautiful place to lay her head down for the last time, so she can rest in peace. The funds raised will go toward the funeral home, a memorial, the obituary, and flowers to honor her memory.
