My dad, Saurabh Mehta, passed away suddenly, leaving our family heartbroken. As his daughter, I want to honor his last wishes and bring him peace according to our Hindu traditions. In India, we have important rituals that must be performed, and his final request was to have his ashes laid in Haridwar, a holy river. My mom is the only income earner in our family, and we don’t have the funds to travel to India and fulfill these sacred rituals.
