Samaya Mackey was an extremely loved individual whether by her family, friends, or anybody else who crossed her path as she was full of energy, love, personality, and life. She was known for her funny and bubbly personality and for looking out for the younger kids in the Seaview neighborhood. A series of unfortunate events took place on the morning of June 12th which resulted in her losing her life at the young age of 18 years old. Samaya had goals. She was working towards obtaining her GED, recently learned how to cut hair, was an aspiring rapper/artist, and took steps towards personal growth to create a better life for her two younger siblings. As her death was unexpected, Samaya failed to have a life insurance policy. Her family would love to honor her life as her death is heartbreaking to us all. All raised funds will go towards a possible funeral/burial/cremation and an event such as a repass or memorial to celebrate her memories along with her loved and appreciated life.
