Honoring the Life of Ruben G. Falcon

April 8, 1960 – August 3, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Ruben G. Falcon, who was called home on August 3rd, 2025, after years of pushing through health challenges. While his journey here on earth was not always easy, Ruben faced each day with humor, love, and strength. He is now reunited with his beautiful daughter, his “mochura baby,” Wendy Falcon — a reunion we take comfort in.

Ruben leaves behind his devoted wife, Irma, two loving sons, Ruben Jr. and Luis, and his cherished granddaughter Isabella. He also leaves a legacy of laughter and love among countless siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

If you knew Ruben, you knew his signature laugh, his quick wit, and infectious energy. He was more than a husband, father, and grandfather — he was everyone’s “cool uncle.” Whether cracking jokes at family parties or cheering on one of his favorite teams, the Chicago White Sox, Ruben made every moment more joyful. He played softball for years, only stepping away when his health no longer allowed it. Those games weren’t just a pastime — they were a reflection of his love for togetherness, fun, and family.

As we prepare to celebrate Ruben’s life and lay him to rest, we are reaching out for support to help ease the financial burden of funeral costs for his family. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help lift the weight during this incredibly difficult time.

Con mucho dolor en el corazón, compartimos la partida de nuestro querido Ruben G. Falcon, quien fue llamado a descansar el 3 de agosto del 2025, después de muchos años enfrentando problemas de salud con valentía. Aunque su camino aquí no siempre fue fácil, Ruben vivió cada día con humor, amor y fuerza. Ahora está reunido con su hermosa hija, su “mochura baby,” Wendy Falcon — y eso nos da un poco de consuelo en este momento tan difícil.

Ruben deja atrás a su esposa amada, Irma, a sus dos hijos, Ruben Jr. y Luis, y a su nietecita adorada, Isabella. También deja un legado de risas, amor y buenos recuerdos entre sus hermanos, sobrinos, sobrinas, familia extendida y amistades que siempre lo llevarán en el corazón.

Si conocías a Ruben, conocías su risa tan única, su manera de tirar chistes al instante, y esa energía que contagiaba a todos. Fue más que esposo, papá y abuelo — él era el “tío cool” de todos. Siempre echando relajo en las fiestas familiares o apoyando a uno de sus equipos favoritos, los Chicago White Sox, Ruben sabía cómo hacer especial cualquier momento. Jugó softball por muchos años, y solo dejó de jugar cuando ya no pudo físicamente. Pero esos juegos eran más que un hobby — eran parte de su amor por la familia, la convivencia y el puro gusto de estar juntos.
