Help Honor Rosalie's Legacy of Care and Love

Dear Friends & Family,
I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart as my beloved wife, Rosalie, has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. This news has turned our world upside down, and we’re seeking your support as we face this difficult journey together.
Our love story began 55 years ago in Anderson, Indiana. I was selling home fire alarms when I followed up on a lead at Rosalie’s house. I still remember the moment I met her—her warmth, kindness, and infectious smile drew me in immediately. Nine months later, we were married, and we have shared every day since then, building a beautiful life together.
Rosalie has been a steadfast wife and a terrific grandmother to our six children—three boys from my side and three girls from hers. She has always been the heart of our family, nurturing and supporting us through every challenge. Our legacy includes 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, each of whom Rosalie adores deeply.
In addition to being a loving wife and grandmother, Rosalie has dedicated many years to serving others. She worked as a caregiver in respite care, helping individuals dealing with health concerns in their homes, and has also been highly involved in our local church, Sherwood Oaks Christian Church here in Indiana for over 30 years. Through local outreach and women’s development and empowerment, she has made a lasting impact in our community. For the past 18 years, Rosalie has also participated in an independent international Bible study fellowship every week, deepening her faith and inspiring those around her.
Rosalie’s passion for art began at Ball State University in the 1950s, and over the years, she channeled that passion into painting. Many of her works have graced living rooms across Indiana, and her paintings have received recognition at juried exhibits at places such as the Indiana State Fair and The Hoosier Salon.
Unfortunately, Rosalie does not have any life insurance, which adds an additional layer of financial strain as we navigate her diagnosis and treatment. We are faced with significant medical expenses, and the emotional and financial burden can be overwhelming. However, we believe that with the love and support of our community, we can find the strength to overcome this challenge.
