I am starting this fundraiser for my father, Rodney O Givens, and for our family as we try to make it through this heartbreaking loss. My father passed away after suffering a heart attack while driving a school bus. The bus then crashed, and we are deeply grateful that no one else was involved or injured. He was loved by so many people, and anyone who knew him knew how much he cared for others. He loved what he did, proudly worked as a Montgomery County Public Schools Bus driver on route 4105, and always put other people before himself. Above all, he loved and cherished his family more than anything.

Losing him so suddenly has left us devastated and trying to face something we never imagined. In the wake of my father’s passing, my mom, my 12-year-old brother, and I are doing our best to hold each other up and find a way forward together through this pain. I am asking for help to cover my father’s funeral expenses and to support our family in the difficult time after his passing.
