My brother Robert Chandler unexpectedly passed away in his sleep on May 1 at just 51 years old. The night before, he had been building his seven-year-old daughter’s birthday present, showing just how much she meant to him. He passed away on her birthday, leaving behind a little girl who was the center of his world. Robert always put his daughter first—she was the first thing he thought of in the morning and the last thing on his mind at night.

With no other family left, I am doing everything I can to honor Robert’s memory and make sure his daughter has a place to visit and remember her dad. All funds raised will go toward his burial and for me to travel from Texas to ensure everything is done properly. His daughter is too young to handle these arrangements, and I want to give her a place where she can always feel close to her father.
