Hello, we are the Heyward family, and we are raising funds in honor of our beloved Richardine G. Heyward — a cherished Mom, Sister, Grandmommy, and Auntie whose memory deserves to be honored with dignity and care.

After her passing, she was laid to rest under the direction of Bethel Baptist Church. Unfortunately, the church did not honor her final request. She had asked that the plot beside her be reserved for her husband, our grandfather, so they could one day rest together. That wish was ignored.

Because of this, we are now facing the heartbreaking and painful decision to relocate her so her original wishes can be fulfilled. No family should ever have to go through this, but we are committed to making it right.

We’re asking for help to cover the cost of bringing her back, securing a new burial plot beside her husband (who is still living), and handling the reburial and funeral-related expenses.
