Hi, my name is Matthew Miranda and with a heavy heart, I am unfortunately needing to create this fundraiser on behalf of our family who on February 24th, 2026, was hit with a devastating life-altering tragedy in the loss of my dad, Dan Miranda. After years of being extremely sick with multiple illnesses, he stayed so strong and continued to fight for as long as he could. His spirit and heart wanted to keep going, but after appointment after appointment, getting test after test, procedure after procedure, in and out of multiple hospitals, needing to take so many different medications, his body just couldn’t do it anymore. My dad truly was the strongest man I had ever met, pretty much a real-life superhero! He was an extraordinary man, an amazing friend, a loving and caring husband and soulmate to my mother for 35 years, a lottery-winning type of father to 3 children, a wonderful uncle, a tremendous brother/brother-in-law, a father-in-law every spouse wishes they could have, and last but not least, the greatest papa there ever has been or ever will be!

With a loss like this, our family is hurting like never before and would greatly appreciate any help that you could provide. Any and all donations we receive through this fundraiser will help our family be able to follow through with my father’s final wishes and pay for his cremation costs along with all the service costs that there will be. With the help from all of you wonderful people, either from donations and or from spreading the word further out by simply sharing this post to everyone you know, we will be able to give this remarkable one-in-a-trillion type of man what he wished for and deserves.
