My wife got the call from her father's girlfriend this morning that her dad, Ray, had passed away in his sleep. For the last four months, Ray had been sick, searching for answers from doctors but never getting any. He was scheduled to go to KU for more tests on Tuesday, but sadly, he didn't make it to that appointment. Ray was a military veteran, a loving father of three, a grandfather to many, and a man of deep faith. He was in so much pain, but he kept fighting for his family until the very end, when the fight finally took all he had. He will be truly missed by so many who loved him. We are raising funds to help cover the costs of Ray's burial or cremation, as well as a celebration of life event for friends and loved ones to come together and honor his memory.
