My father, Ralph, suffered a stroke on the Thursday before Easter. What followed was an incredibly difficult few weeks for our family, but we held onto hope as he worked hard in rehab and made what seemed like strong progress. He spent his 65th birthday in the hospital, yet despite everything, he was recovering quickly and was scheduled to come home on April 28, 2026. On April 25, he completed physical therapy without any problems and seemed like his usual self. Then, on the morning of April 26, everything changed. Ralph unexpectedly coded, and our family was left in shock. He passed away on April 28, the very day he was supposed to come home from rehab.
His passing was sudden and heartbreaking, and our family is now facing the painful reality of planning his final farewell while grieving this tremendous loss. Ralph did not have any insurance policies in place, so my siblings and I are asking for help to cover the costs of cremation and funeral or memorial services. We want to honor his life with the dignity and love he deserves.
If you are able to support our family during this time, any donation would mean so much to us. If you are not able to give, sharing this fundraiser would also help us greatly. We appreciate anything anyone is able to donate at this time, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness, prayers, and support as we remember Ralph.
*Actual Memorial Date TBD.
