Rachel Peters was a hardworking woman with a remarkable gift for art. Drawing was her escape, and she filled countless pages with her creativity, using pens to bring her imagination to life. She was the kind of person who would give everything she had to help others, even when it was difficult for her. Rachel faced her own struggles, but she was learning to live with them, and her greatest joy was her daughter, who her mother and I have had the privilege of raising. Rachel’s absence is deeply felt by all who knew her, and her memory lives on through her art and her child.

Recently, my wife and I have faced significant financial challenges. After losing my own mother and needing to leave my job to attend her funeral, we worked hard to catch up on bills after purchasing our home. We have no savings left, and now, with Rachel’s unexpected passing, we are unable to afford the costs of cremation and an urn. While a service would be meaningful, it is simply out of reach for us right now. Our hope is to give Rachel the respectful farewell she deserves and to provide her daughter with a way to remember her mother.

Rachel’s daughter is only five years old and never truly had the chance to know her mother after she moved out of state.
