My name is Alexander, and I’m raising funds to honor my mother, Peggy Corey. Peggy was the most caring person you could ever meet. As a single mom, she worked tirelessly cleaning houses so she could provide for me and still have time to help with her beloved grandchildren. Her grandkids were her world, and she always put family first. Even after her marriage ended, she and her ex-husband Mike remained close, and she was surrounded by the love of her four sisters and family.

In 2022, Peggy’s health took a turn when she was hospitalized with gangrene. She fought hard and recovered, but her strength never fully returned. She faced one health challenge after another—diabetes, a broken hip, and more. Through it all, she never lost her caring spirit or her determination to be there for her family. Last night, she got up in the middle of the night, fell, and sadly never got back up. Her passing has left a huge hole in our hearts.

I am her only child, and I did my best to prepare for moments like this. I encouraged her to get life insurance, but unfortunately, the policy won’t pay out because it hasn’t reached the two-year mark. Now, I’m hoping to raise enough to cover her cremation and, if possible, give our family a small memorial for closure. Anyone out there who is willing to donate a little bit toward my cause? I want to be able to care for my mom now the way she cared for so many of us when she was alive.
