Our family is heartbroken after losing Paulino Martinez, a wonderful father and uncle, who passed away early this morning after a difficult battle with cancer. Paulino was the kind of person who could light up any room with his jokes and generous spirit. He always put others first, making sure everyone around him felt loved and supported. His laughter and kindness touched so many lives, and his absence leaves a deep void in our hearts.

My tio Paulino’s illness progressed quickly. In just two months, his cancer advanced despite our efforts to get him the best care possible. We took him to every doctor and specialist we could, and he underwent surgery in hopes of recovery. Sadly, he passed away just five days after his operation. Our family did everything we could, but the medical expenses have left us with very little to cover the costs of his funeral.
