Our mom was like a ray of sunshine—she was everything to everyone who met her. She helped people when they were in dark places, celebrated others when no one did, and always showed up when no one else would. She deserves to be remembered for how amazing she was. We didn’t just lose our mom; the world lost a diamond so hard to come by. Her life was short lived, only 50 years old, and she leaves behind two granddaughters who adored her.

She died unexpectedly in her sleep, with no health issues. Her things are still everywhere around the house, and the food she just bought that night is still in the fridge. She had every intention of waking up the next day, and the fact that she didn’t is truly heartbreaking. She touched so many hearts while she was here and helped so many souls. She deserves a good memorial and to have her ashes sprinkled at the beach, just as she wanted.

We need help gathering money to pay for her cremation and memorial. It’s tough because it was unexpected. With our mom being gone, we are going to spend the rest of our lives looking for her, but for now we have to say goodbye.
