My dad, Oronde, was the kind of person who made everyone feel cared for. He was kind, genuine, loving, and always ready with a silly joke or a warm hug. To those who knew him, he was like a big teddy bear—always looking out for everyone he cared about and making sure no one ever felt alone. His presence brought comfort and joy to our family and friends, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled. It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic passing of my father. His life was taken unexpectedly due to gun violence, leaving our family devastated and unprepared for the expenses that come with laying him to rest.
