Our family is heartbroken to share that our beloved mother and grandmother, Nancy, passed away on February 16, 2026. She was a Chinese/Vietnamese refugee who left during the Vietnam War to find safety and a better life. With courage and hard work, she rebuilt her life from nothing. While living in California, she met her husband, Jonathan Wang, and together they raised three children: Peter, Samson, and Diana. She had a lively and joyful personality. She could light up a room with her humor, sass, and warm heart. She worked as a manicurist for over 25 years and made many friends in the community. She loved helping people feel confident and beautiful during important moments in their lives. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother to her four grandchildren — Mei, Leon, Theo, and Cyrus. Even in her final years, she would happily call them on video chat, smiling and calling out to them with love. In 2019, she was diagnosed with a serious blood disease called amyloidosis, which led to kidney failure. Over the past several years, she fought bravely. She went through chemotherapy, dialysis, and many difficult health challenges. On February 16, 2026, after also battling pneumonia and the flu, she passed away peacefully. Her final wish was to be buried next to her mother, father, brothers, and sisters, honoring the close family bonds that meant so much to her. We now face the costs of transporting her to California and laying her to rest at Rose Hills Memorial Park, where our family can visit and remember her. The funeral and burial costs, including transportation, are high. We are asking for help so we can give her the respectful and loving burial she deserves. Any donation, no matter the amount, means so much to our family. Your support helps us honor her life, her strength, and the love she gave to all of us. Thank you for standing with our family during this difficult time.
