For the past twelve years, my mother bravely battled kidney disease and endured dialysis treatments. I was her primary caregiver throughout this journey, and as her health declined, her dependence on me grew. The last four years were especially challenging, as she became wheelchair bound and required constant care. Because of this, I was unable to maintain a full-time job, and our household finances suffered greatly. We lived paycheck to paycheck, relying mostly on her pension and social security to get by. Our credit situations also took a major hit as we tried to keep up with medical and daily expenses.

Now that my mother has passed, I am faced with the difficult task of arranging her cremation and memorial. The financial strain has left me unable to cover these end-of-life expenses, and I am reaching out for help to honor her memory in the way she deserves. My mom was the strongest, most caring and compassionate person I’ll ever know, and all who knew her would say the same.
