My mother was a remarkable woman who raised six children while facing unimaginable challenges. She battled polycystic kidney disease and was on dialysis since 1998. Despite having no cartilage in her knees, living with osteoporosis, dyslexia, and glaucoma, and surviving an abusive parent, she remained strong and loving. Her resilience was truly inspiring, especially as she endured constant pain due to allergies to opioids, yet she never let it stop her from caring for her family.

Her passing has left a deep void in our lives, and we are now faced with the difficult task of arranging her funeral. The costs for the funeral services, burial plot, and casket are overwhelming, and we simply do not have the financial means to cover them. My father is retired and living on a small fixed income, and I am still recovering from the mountain of debt left after divorcing a cheating spouse of 15 years. We are unable to even get a loan to help with these expenses.
