My mom was a kind soul who never did anything bad and loved her three sons with all her heart. She always encouraged us to go to school and took pride in our achievements. Her cooking was a source of comfort for our family—her Mexican rice and spaghetti were favorites that brought us together around the table. She also had a special bond with our dog, always calling herself his grandma and making sure he was well cared for.
Recently, my mom passed away due to a cardiac arrest that led to an irreversible anoxic brain injury. Her loss has left a huge void in our lives, and we want to honor her memory in a way that reflects the love and care she gave to everyone around her. We are planning to use an online cremation service in Arizona, then take her ashes to California for a Catholic mass near Thousand Oaks. We hope to gather family and friends for a celebration of life at a family home, and finally lay her ashes to rest in a funeral space in Ventura County.
We are reaching out for support to help cover the costs of these arrangements. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us give my mom the farewell she deserves. Thank you for being part of this with us and for helping us honor her memory.
