My mom was truly the strongest, most honest, and most thoughtful person ever. She overcame and beat alcoholism, and she stopped smoking. Her favorite thing in this world was being with her kids and her husband. All she wanted to do was help make anybody's life she came into contact with better. When we were in high school, my home was everybody else's house too because my mom took people in no matter who you were. She was doing better, and then just all of a sudden passed. I never thought that burying or cremating somebody would be so expensive, and she deserves to go with dignity and respect.

The money raised will be spent for the urn, cremation service, and anything related to funeral expenses. If there's any left over—which I'm sure there won't be—that will go toward clearing up some of her medical expenses before this happened. But I don't foresee that happening, because cremating someone and getting the urn is very expensive. Most people don't have money like that in the middle of the month, or ever really. These funeral homes don't take payment plans, most of them.

I just wanted to say if you can help, your support would mean so much. My family is in a really tough spot. We were already kind of going through it, and living paycheck to paycheck, these expenses are enough to send somebody under. There aren't words to say how thankful I am for any help that you can give.
