Hi, my name is Jade Narvaiz, and I am the daughter of Monica Roberts. I’m writing this with a heavy heart as I reach out to my mom’s friends, family, and anyone who might be willing to help.

On May 17th, my beautiful, strong, and loving mother passed away at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center after a long and difficult medical battle. Since early 2023, she had been undergoing dialysis after suffering from kidney failure. Despite her strength and determination, complications from her illness led to a rare and painful condition called calciphylaxis. She was hospitalized continuously from January 6th until the day she passed.

During this time, my mom fought so hard just to keep going. Because of her declining health and limited income, she wasn’t able to save any money for end-of-life arrangements. Now, I’m doing my best to honor her wishes and give her the peaceful send-off she deserves—but I can’t do it alone.

I’m currently raising $4,000 to help cover the cost of her cremation and funeral plans, which total $4,400. We had originally scheduled a viewing for Tuesday, May 27th, but without the full payment, we may have to cancel or delay it. I'm hoping we can still move forward with the cremation package that feels right and honors my mom’s wishes.

My mom was truly an angel on earth—so kind, so generous, and full of love. She gave so much of herself to others, and now I’m asking for any support to help give back to her one last time.
