This morning, I lost my mama—a woman who meant the world to me and to so many others. She had only a small life insurance policy, and I’m left with no way to cover her funeral expenses, the debts she owed, or any of the other immediate needs that come with her passing. It’s overwhelming to face these challenges while grieving such a huge loss.

My mama was the kind of person who loved everybody. She was always adopting people as her own, offering kindness and support to anyone who needed it. She would do anything for anybody, and her generosity touched countless lives. Now, I want to honor her memory by giving her the funeral she deserves—a chance for everyone she impacted to say goodbye and celebrate her life.
