I really hate that I have to come with this same request after so many of you helped me with my son's final expenses. I had no idea that my husband would pass so soon after and sadly, I had no idea that he was not insured.

My husband was a loving and resilient man who faced unimaginable challenges in the past few months. After undergoing open heart surgery, he suffered a stroke in May, just after we lost our beloved son, Shawn Jamal Barco. The pain and grief were overwhelming, but my husband showed incredible strength and courage as he fought to recover. Despite his determination and the support of those who loved him, his health continued to decline, and he was admitted to the hospital. On Saturday, June 6th, he passed away, leaving a void in our family that can never be filled.

Now, we are again faced with the heartbreaking task of laying my husband to rest. The expenses for his funeral and memorial are more than I can manage alone.
