My father, William Batton, came into my life at a very young age on his own accord. I was not his biological son, but he raised me like I was. He did everything he needed to do to make my life better and to raise me into a good person. He put clothes on my back, food on the table, and tried his hardest to allow me to do all the things I wanted to do throughout my childhood, regardless of being on a fixed income. He always put me first and always did it with a smile on his face, even when things were hard. So much so, he was never able to prepare for this kind of situation.

He has had health problems since I was just a young kid and is one of the toughest people I have ever known, surviving over a dozen heart attacks, amongst other things. He was my rock and losing him has been one of the toughest things I've had to deal with in life.

I am raising funds to help cover the cost of his cremation, as he was never able to set anything aside for this. Any support or kindness during this time would mean so much to me and my family as we honor his memory and try to give him the farewell he deserves.
