Samuel Lee Carter was a father, a brother, a friend and a Vietnam veteran, born in 1942. Throughout his life, he faced many challenges, emotional wounds from war, struggles with addiction, the heartbreaking loss of his eldest daughter and his wife. Despite these hardships, he did his best to be a good God-fearing man.
The money raised here has been directly going to the funeral home in Woodland CA to cover the expenses of a direct burial, while the VA will handle the burial and headstone costs. I want nothing more than to give my father a funeral he would have been proud of at the same time understand that at this time all that matters is honoring his memory and the sacrifices he made the best we can. Any support you can offer means the world to our family. Thank you.
