Hi, my name is Jamey and I am raising funds to help cover the cost of my father’s cremation and final arrangements. For the last two years, I put my entire life on hold to care for my dad as Huntington’s disease slowly took more and more from him. I moved my family and my whole life to be there for him, and I would do it again without hesitation. Watching someone you love disappear piece by piece from this illness is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

Because of his age and his diagnosis, obtaining life insurance was essentially impossible.(even being a veteran) We were not financially prepared for the expenses that come with losing him, and now I am trying to navigate grief while also figuring out how to lay him to rest with dignity. I am doing everything I can on my end, including selling farm eggs we currently have a surplus of, with all proceeds going toward his cremation and memorial costs. Even so, the remaining expenses are more than I can manage alone.
