My dad passed away on May 1st, and I am reaching out for help with his funeral expenses. He was a fun-loving, energetic, and outgoing man who would help anyone he could. He enjoyed playing music for people in need and those less fortunate, and he would give a complete stranger the shirt off his back without thinking twice. He loved keeping busy, building things, and making a difference wherever he could.

He was not only my dad but also my best friend. He taught me how to play the guitar, fix cars, and build homes. He always encouraged me to learn something new and told me there was nothing I couldn't do if I put my mind to it. Thanks to him, I am the person I am today. I have so many good memories with my dad—trips out on the kayak, playing music with family and friends, and celebrating the 4th of July with a big bang. He always brought a smile to any situation and loved spending time with family and exploring new places.

The funeral expenses have been overwhelming, especially since I had to miss work to care for him during hospice. I do not like to ask for help, but I am at a loss and hoping for some support from those who are able.
