My dad has always been a fighter, doing everything he could to stay healthy and be there for our family. He never missed a doctor’s appointment and faced every challenge with strength, including surviving a stroke, battling kidney disease and heart failure. Sadly, he has now reached end-stage heart failure and kidney failure. Watching him face this reality has been heartbreaking for all of us, especially knowing how much he wanted to keep living and sharing moments with his loved ones.

As the hospital visits became more frequent the doctor spoke to us and let us know the treatments were no longer effective .. this news has been hard on us and he’s been put in hospice care and since then we as a family have taken care of him, but in the last few days, unfortunately, he's health has greatly declined. This has been really tough for all of us and we are now spending the final moments focusing on my dads peace and comfort...

As we prepare for what’s ahead, our family is trying to honor him and give him the farewell he deserves. We are raising funds to help cover funeral costs, memorial services, and transportation so he can be laid to rest in his homeland of Mexico. This journey has been incredibly hard, both emotionally and financially. We are deeply grateful to everyone who chooses to support us during these difficult times. Mi papá siempre ha sido un luchador, haciendo todo lo posible por mantenerse sano y estar presente para nuestra familia. Nunca faltó a sus citas médicas y enfrentó cada desafío con fortaleza, incluyendo sobrevivir un derrame cerebral, luchar contra la enfermedad renal y la insuficiencia cardíaca. Lamentablemente, ahora se encuentra en fase terminal de insuficiencia cardíaca e insuficiencia renal. Verlo enfrentar esta realidad ha sido desgarrador para todos nosotros, especialmente sabiendo cuánto deseaba seguir viviendo y compartiendo momentos con sus seres queridos.

A medida que las visitas al hospital se hicieron más frecuentes, el médico nos habló y nos informó que los tratamientos ya no le estaban haciendo efectivo. Esta noticia nos ha afectado mucho y lo han internado en cuidados paliativos. Desde entonces, como familia, lo hemos cuidado, pero en los últimos días, lamentablemente, su salud ha no ha mejorado.. Esto ha sido muy duro para todos nosotros y ahora estamos pasando los últimos momentos concentrándonos en la paz y el consuelo de mi papá...

Mientras nos preparamos para lo que se avecina, nuestra familia intenta honrarlo y darle la despedida que merece. Estamos recaudando fondos para cubrir los gastos funerarios, los servicios conmemorativos y el transporte para que pueda descansar en su tierra natal, México. Estos momentos han sido increíblemente difícil, tanto emocional como económicamente. Su apoyo ayudará a aliviar el estrés financiero que conllevan estas circunstancias.
