My brother was just 39 years old—talented, intelligent, and full of heart. He loved to sing and rap, and he was skilled in construction. No matter how busy life got, he always made time for family. Our journey together started in foster care, where we were separated when I was adopted and moved to another state. Years later, we found each other again on MySpace, and from that moment, we stayed connected. He helped me reconnect with our biological family, and as adults, we built a bond that meant everything to us. Times were hard, but our love for each other never faded.
Recently, while visiting in Berkeley, my brother was found unresponsive. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him, but he did not respond. Losing him so suddenly has left our family heartbroken. My brother means the world to me and our family, and we want to give him a proper homegoing service. We hope to cremate him so that his siblings, his children, and the mother of his children can each have a piece of him to hold on to. Your support will help us honor his memory and bring comfort to those who loved him most.
The family is in need of support for an unexpected passing gone too soon. Any and all donations are welcomed and greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for helping us give my brother the farewell he deserves.
