In less than four months, my family has been asked to endure something no family should ever have to face—saying goodbye to both my father and now my oldest brother. The weight of this grief is something words can barely hold.
Our brother was the kind of person who gave without hesitation. He put others before himself, showed up when it mattered most, and carried a kindness that made people feel seen, safe, and cared for. He loved his Washington Commanders, he loved his family, and he loved hard in a way that left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
Losing him has left an emptiness in our lives that cannot be filled. We are still trying to process the loss of our father, and now we are navigating another heartbreak that feels just as heavy. Through it all, we are doing our best to stay strong for one another, to hold onto the love he gave us, and to honor the beautiful life he lived.
As we prepare to lay our brother to rest, we are facing emotional and financial challenges that we weren’t prepared for. If you are able to support us in any way—whether through a donation, a share, or simply keeping our family in your prayers—it would mean more than we can truly express.
Thank you for surrounding us with love during this incredibly painful time. Your kindness is helping carry us through the darkest days, and we will never forget it.
