Help Honor Mother's Legacy, Support Lisa's Delegate Journey

My name is Lisa Horwitch and I am a delegate from Oregon CD2 for President Joe Biden (and now Kamala Harris) at the 2024 DNCC. It is an honor to be selected to represent OR CD2 at the convention and engage in this important process. I do this, also, in memory of my dear mother - Myra Silverman - who in 2008, was elected as an OR CD2 delegate for then candidate Hillary Clinton. I accompanied Myra to the convention in Denver and witnessed her enthusiastic engagement. My mother passed away in May 2024 and would be proud to know I am following in her footsteps to carry forward her legacy of engagement in this way.

Being a delegate is a volunteer role; and, while it is a huge honor, there are many expenses that come along with attending - transportation getting to/from Chicago from Southern Oregon (air and land), hotels for 5 nights, food, etc. And while we all are doing our part to keep costs to a minimum, it still adds up.
