My grandma, Moth Mourn, was the best grandma in the world. Anyone who knew her would agree she was the kindest and most selfless person ever. She dedicated her life to raising her five children and her mother alone after fleeing the genocide in Cambodia, seeking refuge here in Long Beach. She never remarried after that and devoted herself to helping raise all of her grandchildren. Her strength and compassion touched everyone around her, and she always put her family first.
Recently, Moth Mourn was hospitalized. Things took a sudden turn, and she needed surgery, but unfortunately, she was too weak to undergo the procedure. Her passing was very sudden, and none of us were ready to lose her. The loss has left our family heartbroken and unprepared for the expenses that come with saying goodbye.
We are raising funds to help cover her funeral costs and give her the farewell she wanted. Anything helps, and we are so grateful for any donation during this difficult time. Thank you for supporting us and honoring Moth Mourn’s memory.
Funeral details will be updated once we set a date.
