Help Honor Miranda Azar's Life of Love & Faith

Donation protected
With this being such an incredibly sudden tragedy, the Azar and Olmos family are seeking the community's love and generosity in order to fund a proper casket burial in California at Good Shepherd Cemetery, where she will be buried next to her other loved ones, as well as travel expenses for those in Arizona to travel out of state.

On February 23rd at 9:53PM in Arizona, Miranda Elizabeth Azar was sent to meet with the Lord after battling a sudden fight with sepsis that was just found and caused by a rare autoimmune disease, HLH. Her last moments were spent in a peaceful comatose while alongside her parents Linda and Rudy, her boyfriend Chase, and her external family members coming from Arizona and California.

Despite being 26 years old, she had plentiful experiences living across the country from California to North Carolina to Arizona. In these states and more in where she traveled for gymnastic meets from her childhood to teen years, she graced many lives with her loving bubbliness and her endlessly growing faith with Jesus Christ.

Born on December 17th, 1998, she had a taste of Southern California for the early years of her life till her and her parents made the big cross country move to North Carolina! She found an immediate love for reading, history, and gymnastics, all supported through the homeschooled teachings from her mother Linda at Marathon NC Academy, the school name they came up with. She also had an early love for music and had the remarkable ability to play the piano by ear just by listening to songs and scores from movies. She made lasting friendships with Sydney, Hannah, and other local homeschooled neighbors in NC. These relationships shaped her into the person she is today.

Once she was 12 years old, the east coast Azar family made yet another big cross country move back to the west coast to be closer to her father Rudy's family (Azar) in Arizona and her mother Linda's family (Olmos) in the next state over, California. In her teen years, she had a soaring journey in Gymnastics T&T (Tumbling & Tramp) in where in her first year on the AZ team, she qualified for the state meet and won 1st on trampoline, 1st on double mini, and 2nd on tumbling, all despite being in a car accident that same morning. This success moved her up to competing in Long Beach, CA where she became a bronze medalist and had a monumental family moment. Beyond gymnastics, she found herself falling into new pivotal interests like collecting Webkinz toys with her cousins, an overall love for Disneyland, specifically Disney pin collecting, and in helping the children ministry at Calvary Phoenix in where she grew a strong bond and had a gift with children.

Life is about trying out new things and taking on many new journeys so just as Miranda closed off her chapter of gymnastics, she took her love for reading and trailed it into writing compelling stories of adventure! She had her first book "Dawn of Tides" printed and was in the process of completing her next work "Blue Bird". Her rather is planning to publish this for her in her honor. She also found herself finding a knack for hair dressing, specifically in hair coloring, in which she attended Studio Academy of Beauty, worked at several salons in the Tempe area, and even offered her talents to her family members whenever they needed a quality do. With being in the world of hair and styling, she easily fell into fashion and self photography! She had a love for vintage American fashion, stemming from her love for American history, especially old Hollywood history pertaining to Marilyn Monroe. She had an affinity for her and the historic theaters in Hollywood like the Grauman's Chinese Theatre, in which she adored watching movies at.

Before her passing, she was working at the Autism Academy of Education and Development in Tempe, AZ with high school students in which she became a paraprofessional. She then started to really grow into the countryside of things that Arizona had to offer so, she he grabbed her cowboy boots and hat and headed to the rodeo. Finding love was something she always put her faith in God to show her the right moment, then Chase popped up. He showed her the exhilarating world of bull riding in which she fell in love with that community as well as him through their over a year of love and promised future for each other. Her final gift for Valentine's day to him, she just became sick during this time, was a branding iron with their initials intertwined. In response and honor of Miranda's passing, Chase is planning to have a tattoo of her last heartbeat and time of death on his chest to symbolize his unforgettable, deep love for her.

Miranda was never afraid to try new things and explore the world around her as long as she had her trust and love for the Lord.

From the bottom of grieving hearts and souls, we thank every single one of you who is able to donate any amount for our beautiful daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, Miranda Elizabeth Azar.

May God bless you!
