My brother Michael C. Murphy, known to many as Mikey or Murph, was a true fighter. At just 14 years old, he suffered sudden cardiac arrest. Doctors told us he wouldn’t make it through the night, but Mikey defied the odds and continued to fight for over 15 years. Due to the lack of oxygen to his brain, he became immobilized and needed constant care. Our father even quit his job to be by his side, and our family became his voice and support through countless hospital visits and long days at home.

Recently, Mikey passed away from severe pneumonia. Losing him has left a huge hole in our hearts, and we want to honor his memory with the respectful funeral services he truly deserves. The costs of these arrangements are more than our family can manage alone, especially after years of caring for Mikey. We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help during this incredibly difficult time.
