Michele was a beautiful person with a big heart who touched so many lives. She was a spiritual soul, always sharing her kindness and strength with those around her. Even through years of illness, Michele remained a fighter, inspiring everyone with her resilience and hope. Her journey was not easy—she was bed-ridden for a long time due to severe COPD and heart problems, but she never gave up. In her final months, she began to regain some independence, getting out of the house more and showing us all her determination to live fully.

Michele’s passing has left a deep void in our family. Her oldest son, who was one of her primary caregivers, is now facing unemployment after dedicating so much of his time to her care. Michele was on social security and had no savings, so we are struggling to cover the costs of her funeral and cremation. Our wish is to honor Michele the way she would have wanted—by holding her visitation at the same funeral home where we said goodbye to our parents, followed by cremation and burial with them at Fort Snelling. Afterward, we hope to gather her loved ones for a celebration of life, where we can share memories and honor the impact she had on all of us.
