Help Honor Michael Georges' Memory

Hello everyone!

My name is Chelsea Georges, the second of three children to Michael Georges. Our father passed away on 12/29/24 by suicide. Everyone was very devastated and unprepared for this heartbreak. I started noticing a significant decline in my father's health in 2023. He went to the hospital on a few occasions trying to be admitted for mental health, and ultimately was sent through the revolving door. To our knowledge, he had a psychiatrist and was on a lot of heavy medication. I think it's safe to say, given the outcome of his sudden death, this medication was not working. In the end, he decided not to reach out to anyone and could not bear the weight of whatever was ailing his mind. He was diagnosed with an unspecified neurological disorder. From what our family saw, it seemed to mimic symptoms of early dementia.

What I am asking for today is for some financial support to help us get through this difficult time. My brother and I have no savings to prepare for this type of event. We live paycheck to paycheck and do our best to survive ourselves. We loved our dad very much and want to give him the best service possible to honor his memory and celebrate his life.

We have so far covered the cost for cremation, and Billman-Hunt very graciously agreed to do a payment plan with us for the service. What we are trying to raise money for is not only for the service, but everything else that comes with it additionally. There are flowers, pamphlets, a luncheon, and a final spot to have him be put to rest that we are asking your help to aid us in. Beyond the service, my brother and I are left with a long list of tasks to take care of on our father's behalf that will most definitely need financial support as well, and humbly ask for your support. Every dollar counts, truly, any amount chips away at this massive undertaking we have ahead of us. We appreciate all the kind words that everyone has given us, and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much.
