Hi everyone,

My lovely dog, Mia was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in August of 2024. I took her in after I noticed a noticeable difference in her breathing. I thought between that and her coughing that at most she had kennel cough. I quickly learned that she had a congestive heart failure and a heart murmur, which came as a huge surprise considering how spunky she was leading up to that day. The vet wasn't certain that she would even make it through the night.

As it turns out, Mia is one resilient pup. For several months after until now, I was giving her her meds a couple times a day, one being smack dab in the middle of the night. She was having accidents constantly due to the diuretic. It was a rough couple months, but she still was energetic until she wasn't. I have had Mia since I was 14 years old, being 26 now, we have been through a lot together. She has been a light and an extremely stabilizing figure through my youth and adult life. Losing her is an immense loss and pretty expensive as well. This go fund me will help fund her euthanasia taking place on 5/16/25, her cremation services to properly honor as well as a memorial party to honor her life. I want to be able to gather with friends and family to mourn and celebrate her long life. She was a friend to all people and animals and kissed my tears. She was sassy and had the side eye of the century. I would greatly appreciate help from my community to aide in the expenses of losing my baby. Thank you so much for reading and sharing.
