My name is Adena. I am writing this go fund me on behalf of the Garza family. As many of you know Melesio Garza, JR passed away on 10.22 after a fierce, but short fight with pancreatic cancer. He leaves behind all of his children, grandchildren, and siblings. The Garza family has been a second family to me for nearly a decade, and seeing the pain they are enduring is truly heartbreaking. Melesio was diagnosed in September, leaving only a few short weeks for his family to make tough decisions, and try to finance his services. Melesio was a man of god and a proud member of new hope church in villa park. If you got the opportunity to meet him, you left with a smile on your face. He wanted everyone around him to feel good, and laugh. He loved to cook and BBQ for his family and friends and he always had a passion for music. He was the type of man who would give his shirt off his back for you if you were in need.
