Mary was a remarkable woman—spirited, generous, and always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. She faced life with determination, a sharp sense of humor, and a kindness that made everyone feel welcome. Early mornings were her favorite, savoring a quiet cup of coffee and a cigarette while soaking in the peace of the outdoors. She found true happiness in the simple beauty of nature and the land around her.
Throughout her life, Mary worked as a waitress and prepared income taxes, taking pride in her work and the people she served. Alongside her late husband, Jose, she was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, giving back to the community and building lasting friendships. Mary was also a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, never missing a game and cheering for her team with passion every season. Her strength, warmth, and compassion touched everyone who knew her, and her family will always treasure the love and light she brought into their lives.
After several years of illness, Mary’s health declined quickly in the past few weeks. Though her spirit remained strong, her body could not keep up. We are now facing unexpected funeral expenses and want to honor her memory with a meaningful farewell. Any donations received will go directly toward covering funeral costs. Any support would mean so much to our family as we remember and celebrate Mary’s life.
