Help Honor Maricel's Memory

Our mom Maricel was the epitome of a great soul, her loving and bright nature was always apparent to anyone who crossed paths with her. Everyone always felt her love when with her. She was the light in every room she entered and was always remembered to be such a great person inside and out.

Maricel was diagnosed with Stage 3 Gallbladder cancer in January 9th, 2024 of this year. We were all devastated of the news but were hopeful in her recovery after some treatments. On April 10, she had her gallbladder surgically removed and there we found out that the cancer had spread further then what was initially thought. It had progressed to a Stage 4 and had spread to her surrounding organs and lymph nodes. Over the course of 7 months our mom fought hard to keep going for the sake of her family. But on August 26, 2024 our mom took her final breath in the arms of her husband, our dad, while surrounded by her children.

We are beyond devastated and heartbroken of losing our mom. And worried of the financial struggles of funeral cost that our dad has to take on with the death of our mom. Anything anyone is willing to help with would be appreciated towards our mom’s funeral cost.
