My daughter Maddie was a bright, loving, and nonverbal autistic child who brought so much joy to our lives. She had a unique way of seeing the world and touched everyone she met with her gentle spirit. Maddie loved to live life to the fullest, and her laughter could light up any room. She was only 13 years old, and her time with us was far too short.

Tragically, Maddie was struck and killed by a commercial truck after she eloped from our house. The suddenness of her passing has left our family heartbroken and struggling to cope with the loss. We did not have life insurance for Maddie, and the unexpected expenses for her funeral and burial have been overwhelming. I am reaching out for help to give Maddie the loving farewell she deserves and to honor her memory in the best way I can.

I am so grateful for the love and support from everyone during this incredibly difficult time. Maddie’s physical presence will be deeply missed, but her love and spirit will be forever 13.
