My father, Louis Staples Jr., was born on February 24, 1972, in Mound Bayou, Mississippi. He passed away on June 20, 2022, and today marks four years since his passing. Louis was the best father anyone could ask for. He dedicated his life to raising children—both his own and those who needed a loving home. He and my mother shared seven children together, and his kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew him.

Our family has been struggling to provide him with a gravestone for his gravesite. It’s been difficult to come up with the funds, and we want to honor his memory with a proper headstone so we have a place to visit and remember him. Louis gave so much to others, and now we hope to give him the tribute he deserves.
