My mom, Lisa Fitts, was the most generous and selfless person I have ever known. She spent her life helping others, always putting the needs of family, friends, and even strangers before her own. Lisa faced many health challenges over the years, including multiple open-heart surgeries and ongoing hospital visits, but she always found the strength to keep going and to care for those around her. Her kindness, forgiveness, and unwavering love touched everyone she met, and her absence leaves a huge hole in our hearts.

On November 17, 2025, Lisa passed away unexpectedly due to a severe infection and other underlying medical conditions, including heart and kidney failure. She leaves behind two children, eight grandchildren, her parents, her brother, and a large extended family and circle of friends who are all still in shock. Lisa did not have an insurance policy, and our family is now facing the difficult task of arranging her funeral without the financial resources we need. We want to honor her memory with a beautiful homegoing that reflects the amazing person she was.

We are asking for donations to help cover the costs of Lisa’s funeral and to give her the farewell she truly deserves.
