Help Honor Linda Beeler's Final Wishes

It is with extreme sadness that we are announcing the sudden, unexpected passing of our beloved Aunt, Linda Elizabeth Beeler. Linda was a spark in this world and is already deeply missed.

Unfortunately there are extenuating circumstances beyond our control regarding the manner of how our Aunt's remains have been handled and is the foundation for this gofundme page.

A welfare check was requested by our Aunt's landlord. During the Deputy's investigation it was discovered that she had passed away. Because her next of kin listed was her Mom, our Memaw, Lillian Welch Hutchison, whom has already passed on, the Sheriff Deputy was unable to determine that she does in fact have living next of kin. Linda's 3 nieces, Michele Sartwell, Angela Hood & Jennifer Kozlowski and family all live in a different State.

Because the Sheriff Deputy was lacking the knowledge of her living next of kin, the State made the decision to cremate Linda’s remains and placed her in a Mausoleum and list Linda as an "Unclaimed Person.”

As we are just now learning about all of this, due to our own research to contact Linda, we would like to claim our Aunt's remains and honor Linda's final wishes. Her wish was to be laid to rest in her burial plot next to her beloved husband, our deeply missed Uncle, Earl Douglas Beeler at Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville, TN.

Unfortunately, as we were not prepared for this and due to our current financial situations, this does not allow us to respectively lay Linda's remains to rest in a timely matter. As hard of a decision this is to make, we are reaching out and asking for gracious donations.

The cost of extracting her remains from the Mausoleum is $2000, $150 to have her date of death added to her tombstone and $895 for a weekday burial of her ashes at her plot.

We greatly appreciate any donations so that we are able to lay our Aunt Linda to rest.
