Hello friends and family,

It saddens me to announce the passing of my beloved mother, Ligaya “Happy” Hubbard. True to her name, Ligaya meaning “joy" brought warmth and happiness to everyone she met. Many knew her simply as “Happy.” She had a special gift for making people feel at home, and her cooking was her way of connecting, caring, and showing love to others.

After a long and courageous battle with being sick, she has now been called to be a top chef in Heaven. She faced every challenge with a fight, always putting her family first and refusing to let being sick define her. We want to gather as a family and celebrate the love and joy she brought into our lives.

As we navigate this difficult time, we are raising funds to help cover the costs of her final expenses and a private memorial service so we can honor her life in a meaningful way.
